The 100 Miles South of France is a unique opportunity to connect physically and in a single race, the mountain and the sea. The crossing of the department of the Pyrenees Orientales, on the border of Spain, constitutes an exceptional challenge of a little More than 170 kms and 8700 m of D +. The departure will be given more than 1800 meters above sea level in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Catalan Pyrenees to arrive at the foot of the chain of Albères, near the natural reserve of Massane and the marine reserve of the Catalan coastline. After having taken great pleasure in organizing the 3rd edition of the 100 Miles Sud de France, the Organizing Committee officially announces the launch of the 2017 vintage. The Pyrénées Méditerranée trail will take place between 4 and 6 October and will take place always according to 3 formats of 80, 120 and 170 kms.We appoint you on January 29, 2018 for the opening of the registrations.

From Vernet les Bains, your goal will be to reach the sea. After a first steep climb on the foothills of Canigo, you will arrive at the symbolic Cortalets refuge at an altitude of 2100 meters. Then, leaving the Conflent, you will find the picturesque and authentic Vallespir before joining the Albères, a magnificent mountain range which literally flows into the water of the Mediterranean on the beach of Argeles-sur-Mer.
