International Ciné-Rencontres Festival, Prades

Pablo Casals Festival

The Pablo Casals Festival of Prades was founded in 1950 in honour of the famous Catalan cellist Pablo Casals, who gathered great musicians of his time around him (C. Haskil, M. Horszowski, R. Serkin, I. Stern, J. Szigeti, and Y. Menuhin). In the glorious setting of the Pyrenees mountain range, the Pablo Casals Festival has become an unmissable date in the chamber music calendar.
